Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
3. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each breast is coated evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or preferably up to 2 hours.
4. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
5. Grease the grill grates with a bit of oil to prevent sticking. Grill the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken.
6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
